Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex has announced the naming of its novel technologies (patents pending) to produce emulsion polymers that offer a range of antimicrobial functionality. The company has selected PolySÇf Antimicrobial Polymers as the name for the technology platform.

The technology includes polymers that have inherent antimicrobial properties. Additionally, Dow Reichold can provide an emulsion polymer that integrates commonly used active ingredients into an end-use product. In effect, we can tailor the antimicrobial performance to meet the needs of a specific application.

Dow Reichhold is collaborating closely with selected companies to identify the most promising applications for the technology.
